1. Note according to battery law
As our batteries and accumulators can be contained in our shipments, we are obligated according to the battery law (BattG) to point out the following:

1. Batteries and rechargeable batteries must not be disposed of in household refuse. They are legally obliged to return used batteries and accumulators.

2. Waste batteries may contain harmful substances that can damage the environment or your health if stored or disposed of incorrectly. However, batteries also contain important raw materials, e.g. Iron, zinc, manganese or nickel and can be recycled.

3. You can either return the batteries to us or return them in the immediate vicinity (for example, in the trade, in municipal collection points or in our shipping warehouse) free of charge.

4. In the case of end-users, sales in sales outlets are restricted to the usual quantities as well as those used by the distributor as new batteries in their assortment.

5. The symbol with the crossed-out dustbin means that you are not allowed to dispose of batteries or accumulators in domestic waste.

These symbols also contain the following symbols with the following meaning:
Pb: Battery contains lead
Cd: Battery contains cadmium
Hg: Battery contains mercury

2. Notes on the battery deposit
Disposal of the used battery must not be carried out via household waste. As an end user, you are legally obliged to return used batteries. The batteries can be returned free of charge after use in the trading business.

Pursuant to § 10 BattG, we are obliged to charge a deposit of 7.50 Euro including VAT on each vehicle battery in connection with the sale of vehicle batteries to end users, should the end user not return a vehicle waste battery at the time of purchase of a new vehicle battery. We are obliged to reimburse the deposit if you return a vehicle battery with us (T.R.S. Bike Performance, Annenheider Str 162a, 27755 Delmenhorst, Germany).

Furthermore, we are obliged to repay the deposit if you have handed over a vehicle waste battery to a distributor of vehicle batteries, a public-sector disposal body or an operator of a treatment facility for end-of-life vehicles according to the End-of-Life Vehicle Ordinance and submit a written or electronic proof of disposal Or transfer. The proof may not be more than two weeks old at the time of presentation.

As a commercial, other economic enterprise or public institution, you can also dispose of the waste battery directly at the manufacturer or in the case of commercial waste batteries; You will also receive the pledge from us upon submission or transmission of a written or electronic proof of disposal from these offices. This proof may not be older than two weeks at the time of presentation.
